Hello Everybody!

Spaceship Away Part 25, Autumn 2011 has just been printed and will be available from November 21st.

Here we are starting our ninth year in print, so with Christmas and another New Year racing towards us, what have we for you this time?

To kick-off we have a Sydney Jordan scripted, Don Harley drawn Dan Dare Christmas story. Followed by an article on Desmond Walduck, a new painting by Don Harley from “Prisoners of Space”, and Tim Booth’s “Parsecular Tales”. Then an item about Spacefleet H.Q. by Charles Evans-Gunther, and a fabulous Ian Kennedy centrespread, featuring three versions of Dan Dare (he worked on all three).

In the second half, Garth’s adventures continue; there’s news of another Frank Hampson find; plus a further Journey Into Space episode (Bruce Cornwell takes over the artwork part way through). Chat-Back returns (please keep your comments coming!) There’s another model by Sid Clark from ‘Dan Dare’s World’; a two page Don Harley DD strip; and the board from the Dan Dare’s Race in Space game. (Time to get your dice and counters out at Christmas - what fun!) Topped off with a new Bruce Cornwell painting on the back cover.

The rest of “Pre-emptive Strike” is still in the pipeline, along with more artwork from Graham Bleathman, Don Harley and Gerry Embleton. So things are shaping up for next year!
